Fleet Assist coordinates maintenance and repairs for your trucks and trailers. We help find a shop, review the estimate, follow the work and keep the repair history in order. Between breakdowns, we track planned service so it stays on the calendar.

Who handles the calls when a truck breaks down?
We coordinate the repair response with you, your driver and the service provider. Send us the truck’s location, the symptoms and the driver’s contact details. We help find a repair option, check availability and bring the proposed work and cost to you for approval.
Say a driver calls at night with a truck that will not start. You need to know whether a roadside mechanic can help or a tow is needed. You also need to know who can take the truck and what they expect to charge.
We handle those conversations and keep you informed as the options become clear. Once you approve the work, we follow its progress. Our team is available 24/7; the repair itself depends on the shop, parts and conditions at the location.
Roadside coordination includes fuel delivery, jump starts, lockout service, and truck or trailer towing. After an accident, we help arrange towing and repair contacts and collect repair information for the insurance follow-up.
What do you manage between breakdowns?
The monthly service also covers the work that is easy to put off when every truck is busy. We help plan service around your operation and maintain a record of what each unit has needed.
Our ongoing work covers:
- Maintenance schedules: service intervals, upcoming work and coordination of shop appointments.
- Inspection scheduling: arranging annual inspections and following up on defects that need repair.
- Dedicated account manager: a point of contact who keeps track of your fleet’s service needs, open repairs and vendor follow-up.
- Shop and roadside coordination: finding suitable, cost-effective shops and providers for repairs, towing, tires and other roadside needs, comparing availability and costs.
- Estimate review: checking the proposed parts and labor, asking about unclear charges and discussing options with the shop.
- Repair oversight: following the diagnosis, parts availability, work progress and changes to the estimate.
- Repair history: keeping maintenance records and invoices by truck or trailer so previous work is available for the next decision.
- Fleet cost analysis: reviewing spending and recurring failures, identifying costly or unreliable units, and highlighting repair or replacement options to help reduce fleet costs.
- Bill negotiation and disputes: checking final invoices against approved work, parts and labor charges, negotiating with vendors over overcharges and following disputed bills through to a response.
- Invoice and vendor management: collecting shop documents, resolving questions about repair work and handing approved bills to your accounting contact for payment tracking.
A repair record should help you make the next decision. If the same problem keeps returning, we bring the history together so you can discuss it with the shop. If a charge is unclear, we ask for an explanation before it becomes another unexplained expense.
Do I still approve the work?
Yes. You keep control of repair spending. At the start, we agree on who can authorize work and how you want estimates sent for approval. When a shop finds more work, we bring the change back through that process.
Fleet Assist manages the coordination. The mechanic diagnoses and repairs the vehicle. We do not promise a repair time or a fixed saving before the shop has assessed the problem.
For routine work, share your unit list, current mileage, service history and known issues. For a breakdown, send the location and current problem first. We can gather the rest as the situation develops.
What does the monthly price cover?
Maintenance management costs $49 per active truck per month, with 24/7 service. The rate applies from the first active truck. Three active trucks cost $147 per month.
The monthly fee covers our coordination and management work. Parts, shop labor, towing, tires and other outside services are paid separately. This is not a repair warranty or a fund that pays the repair bill.
We work with retained clients throughout the month. Shop searches, estimate reviews and repair follow-up are part of that ongoing relationship, rather than separate services for sale.
How does this fit with the rest of my operation?
Maintenance manages the repair and checks the charges. Safety and compliance keeps track of the related compliance documents. Dispatch handles changes to the load plan. Accounts payable and receivable tracks the approved bill and its payment status.
You can bring all four together for $999 per active truck per month, with 24/7 service. Their separate prices total $1,146, so the bundle saves $147 per active truck each month.
